62-year-old Galway woman, Marie Farragher Pollard, died from head injuries after being struck by a motorcycle in Dublin city centre in 2022. Her family has appealed the Director of Public Prosecutions' (DPP) decision not to pursue criminal charges against the motorcyclist. The inquest has been adjourned until January 2025 for an update on criminal proceedings, as the DPP's decision is now being reviewed.
