EastEnders star Roberta Taylor, known for her role as matriarch Irene Raymond, has passed away at 76. Taylor died from an infection caused by a fall two months prior, which aggravated her underlying health issues with pneumonia. In addition to her EastEnders role, she also portrayed Inspector Gina Gold in The Bill and her last major TV series appearance was on the comedy Shakespeare & Hathaway.
