38-year-old man, Colin Curtis, guilty of assaulting girlfriend and threatening her with death during a vodka-fuelled incident in Co Clare. The 27-year-old victim fled the apartment on Ennis's Parnell Street to the local Garda station with visible bruises, reporting the one-hour ordeal. Curtis pleaded guilty to assault causing harm and threatening to kill his then girlfriend on May 26th, 2023.
