Subsea specialist Sulmara received funding from NZTC to develop an OTH USV that launches & recovers towed sensor packages, aligned with UK MCA Workboat Code 3. The USV will support offshore energy asset decommissioning with environmentally friendly data acquisition methods. Partners include Maritime Robotics, Lidan Marine, and Harbour Energy for commercial proof of concept demonstrations.
