South Africa's consumer price inflation slowed to 5.1% year-on-year in June, the lowest level in six months, with food and transportation costs decreasing. The consumer price index (CPI) rose 0.1% month-on-month in June, while annual inflation rates for goods fell from 5.7% to 5.5% and services from 4.7% to 4.6%. Inflation has remained within the Reserve Bank's target range of 3-6% for the past 10 months.
