Russia's Duma approves legislation to expand "undesirable" foreign-funded organization restrictions.

Russia's lower house of parliament, the Duma, has approved legislation to expand the reach of a law designating foreign-funded organizations as "undesirable," restricting their activities in the country. The measure, which passed its final reading in the Duma, adds that organizations can be declared undesirable if they are founded or participate in activities by foreign government bodies.
