Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) signed an agreement with Tirana's Municipality to establish Qatar Square in Albania's capital, covering 23,700 sqm and costing €11 million. Inspired by Qatari weaving craft, the project features celebration, exhibition, and event spaces, shops, and gathering areas. A water purification system for the Lido River is also included, supporting 25,000 house constructions and job opportunities for Albania.
