Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina invited Malaysia to fully manufacture Perodua cars in Bangladesh during a meeting with outgoing Malaysian High Commissioner Haznah Md Hashim. PHP Motors, a local concern, has partnered with Perodua to assemble and sell cars in Bangladesh. The PM and the envoy also discussed their countries' longstanding relationship, dating back to the tenure of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
