Pratt & Whitney, an RTX subsidiary, secures a deal to power 11 Airbus A220 jets for Papua New Guinea's national airline, Air Niugini. This is the first time Air Niugini will use Pratt & Whitney's GTF engines, and the agreement includes a 12-year EngineWise Comprehensive support service. The engines are expected to boost fuel efficiency, expand route offerings, and enhance passenger experience.
