Ohio's proposal to change its political mapmaking system has qualified for the November ballot. Bipartisan group Citizens Not Politicians submitted over 535,005 valid signatures, exceeding the 414,000 needed. The proposed constitutional amendment aims to replace the current Ohio Redistricting Commission with an independent body selected by citizens, diversifying party affiliation and geography. The Ohio Ballot Board will now determine ballot language and title.
