Offaly's Seanie Morris wins in a prestigious astrophotography competition with his smartphone snap, 'Sam and Lucy's first BIG aurora'. The picture, taken without a telescope, captures the aurora borealis at twilight with his children's silhouettes, earning first place in the 'Night Sky in Your Hand' category. The winning image will be exhibited at the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies (DIAS) headquarters from July 25.
