Nigeria's VP announces AI, blockchain training initiative to boost innovation and economic growth.

Nigeria's Vice President, Kashim Shettima, announced the country's ambition to overtake other global economies and lead in innovation and economic growth. To achieve this, the AI Expertise Blockchain and Technology Training and Outsourcing Initiative was launched in Jigawa State, aiming to train 1,000 Nigerians annually in AI, blockchain, and other advanced technologies. The initiative, developed in partnership with tech company Gluwa, aligns with President Tinubu's agenda to revolutionize Nigeria's digital technology sector.
