The Nigerian House of Representatives has directed NERC and DISCOs to reverse a recent tariff increase for Band A customers, following a House Committee on Power report recommending a return to previous tariff levels due to affordability concerns for Nigerians. The NERC had previously announced a tariff hike affecting Band A customers, paying N76.20 to N225 per kilowatt. The House will investigate the tariff hike further.
