New Zealand government acknowledges Lake Alice Psychiatric Hospital child torture in the 1970s, with delayed apology and consideration for redress.

New Zealand government acknowledges for the first time that children and young people at Lake Alice Psychiatric Hospital in the 1970s were tortured.
