Heathrow Airport reported a record 39.8 million passengers in the first half of 2022, up 7.3% from the same period in 2021, with 765 tonnes of cargo transported. Despite a 2.9% fall in half-year revenues, Heathrow achieved an underlying profit of £178 million. CEO Thomas Woldbye credited the success to staff dedication and called for policies supporting global competitiveness and sustainable growth.
