The state's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate increased to 3.1% in June from 2.9% in May and 2.6% in June 2023. Total nonfarm payroll employment in Kansas increased by 7,600 from May, with private sector jobs up 2,200 and government jobs up 5,400.
