Indonesia is intensifying efforts against illegal imports and dumping to protect domestic industries. Following a surge in imported goods from neighboring countries, the Trade Ministry launched the Illegal Import Task Force to monitor products, examine business licenses, and ensure legal compliance. The task force began supervising importers and inspecting warehouses, focusing on sectors like textiles, electronics, footwear, beauty products, fisheries, and ceramics.
