Harrisburg, Pennsylvania cancels Kipona Festival's fireworks and drone show due to safety concerns following "serious incidents" at recent July 4th celebrations. Mayor Wanda Williams hopes this is a temporary decision, tasking Commissioner Carter to develop a new safety plan and considering if fireworks should be part of future events. The rest of the festival will proceed as planned on Aug. 31-Sept. 1.
