Ghana's Supreme Court has upheld the Bank of Ghana's (BoG) decision to revoke UniCredit Ghana Limited's operating licence, reversing an earlier Court of Appeal judgment. The BoG had declared UniCredit insolvent in August 2019, citing its failure to meet financial thresholds. The Supreme Court ruled that BoG did not err in declaring UniCredit insolvent and revoking its licence.
