2024 Ghanaian government invests GH¢135 million in National Identification Programme for economic improvement and digitization.
Finance Minister Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam disclosed that since January 2024, the Ghanaian government has invested GH¢135 million in the National Identification Programme. This investment is part of a strategy to improve economic participation and efficiency, and is aimed at digitizing the economy. The announcement was made during the 2024 mid-year budget review in Parliament.
