Germany bans the Islamic Center Hamburg (IZH) and its subsidiaries, accusing it of promoting Iranian leadership ideology and supporting Lebanon's Hezbollah militant group. The ban followed raids on 53 properties around the country. Interior Minister Nancy Faeser said the IZH "promotes an Islamist-extremist, totalitarian ideology in Germany." The ban aims to curb extremist activities within Germany.
