The EFCC has arrested a banker, Kamaluddeen Lawal, and three business associates in Kano for laundering and tampering with Naira currency notes. The suspects were apprehended at Unity Road, Kantin Kwari Market, following credible intelligence reports on their activities. The group is suspected of obtaining mutilated Naira notes from various banks, removing a few notes from each bundle, and depositing the remainder in their bank accounts.
