China is accelerating the optimization process of state capital and state-owned enterprises (SOEs) to adjust their structure, said the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. Chairman Zhang Yuzhuo stated that state capital will be directed toward critical industries, national security, public services, and emerging sectors. The goal is to advance in some areas while retreating in others, supporting high-quality development.
