Audi appoints former Ferrari Team Principal Mattia Binotto as new F1 boss, replacing Andreas Seidl and Oliver Hoffmann. Binotto, who left Ferrari in 2022, will take up roles as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technical Officer for Audi's Formula 1 project, starting from August 1. This comes as Audi prepares for its F1 debut in 2026, following its full takeover of Swiss operation Sauber.
