Airbus has invested in LanzaJet, a sustainable fuels technology company, to boost the production of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). The investment will support LanzaJet's development of the Alcohol-to-Jet (ATJ) pathway, helping it expand its capacity to scale its proprietary Ethanol to Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) process technology. The partnership aims to decarbonize aviation by exploring innovative production pathways and scaling SAF.
