74-year-old Sharron Perkins with Alzheimer's, reported missing in Sanilac County, was found safe after a 24-hour search involving police, fire crews, dive teams, K-9 units, community members, and search and rescue groups. Perkins, who went missing from her Forestville home, was discovered alive in a location north of the village. Authorities expressed gratitude to all who participated in the search effort.
