Turkish market participants lowered their year-end inflation expectation to 42.95% in July, according to the Central Bank's July 2024 Survey of Market Participants. The 12-month ahead inflation expectation also decreased from 31.79% to 30.02%. Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek said that inflation expectations are converging towards the central bank's target.
