Sleep Country Canada to be acquired by Fairfax Financial Holdings for $1.7B in Q4 2024, pending approval.

Sleep Country Canada Holdings Inc. has agreed to a $1.7B acquisition by Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd. Fairfax's subsidiary will acquire all Sleep Country common shares for $35/share, with the deal expected to close in Q4 2024, pending court approval and customary conditions. Sleep Country plans to delist its shares from the Toronto Stock Exchange upon completion.
