Richmond City Council unanimously approved the sale of a city-owned building to the Virginia League of Planned Parenthood, paving the way for the construction of a new clinic at the site, formerly a Richmond school. The clinic will offer family planning, primary care, and cancer screening services, and the organization plans to invest millions into the property. The legislation was proposed by Richmond Mayor Levar Stoney.
