Rapper-turned-doctor, Pedro Juan Vázquez, also known as PJ Sin Suela, is addressing Puerto Rico's severe healthcare staffing shortage. Nearly half of Puerto Rico's doctors have left the island over the last decade, leaving medical facilities understaffed. Vázquez, who has a medical degree, is using his music platform to raise awareness of the health crisis and providing medical care to those in need.
