A police officer visiting HMP Frankland, a high-security men's prison in Durham, was stabbed in the chest during the incident at the facility. The injured officer, from an outside force, was taken to the hospital where they are said to be conscious and talking. HMP Frankland houses some of Britain's most infamous killers and has faced previous incidents involving inmates.
