American rapper Snoop Dogg is set to carry the Olympic torch through Saint-Denis, a diverse Paris suburb, on July 26, 2024, ahead of the Paris Games' opening ceremony. He will join other carriers, including French actress Laetitia Casta, French rapper MC Solaar, and Ukrainian retired pole-vaulter Sergey Bubka. The Olympic flame has spent two months crossing France before reaching Saint-Denis.
