Ohio Republicans propose bills regulating adult-use hemp products, potentially limiting THC levels.
Ohio Republicans propose bills to regulate adult-use hemp products. State Rep. Sara Carruthers introduced House Bill 642, which would require the Ohio Director of Agriculture to issue recommendations for adult-use hemp products. If the bill passes, the Director of Agriculture would create a report on intoxicating hemp product sales and use in consultation with the Ohio Department of Public Safety. The bill could also include restrictions on THC levels in adult-use hemp products based on serving size.
