The National Assembly resumes sittings after a three-week recess with the Finance Bill 2024 and the budget at the top of its agenda. Speaker Moses Wetangula announced that the House will consider President Ruto's rejection of the Finance Bill, which he returned with a memorandum rejecting all its clauses. Any member wishing to overturn the President's memorandum must secure a two-thirds majority in the House.
