Mattel, the $5.58bn toy company, has released its first blind Barbie doll as part of its ongoing push for inclusivity. The doll features a white and red cane, silver sunglasses and brightly colored, high-contrast fasteners on her outfit to aid children's play. This new addition to its Barbie Fashionistas line aims to give children a variety of more diverse dolls to play with, following a line of inclusive dolls including those with hearing loss, Down Syndrome, and in a wheelchair.
