Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan launched a new air corridor, T916, connecting Europe and Southeast Asia.

Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan have launched a new air corridor, T916, aiming to enhance flight routes between Europe and Southeast Asia. The 2,187 km corridor, with 437 km in Uzbekistan airspace and the remaining 1,750 km over Kazakhstan, has already been used by several airlines including Lufthansa Cargo, Cargolux, and Aerologic Cargo Airlines. The route is expected to boost the appeal of Kazakhstan's airspace for foreign airlines and reduce workload on air traffic controllers.
