India's National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has issued summons to Netflix India's Vice President and Policy Head, alleging that the streaming platform offers sexually explicit content accessible to minors, violating the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act of 2012. The NCPCR previously wrote to Netflix in June but received no response. Netflix has not yet issued a statement regarding the matter.
