India's capital markets had a robust FY2023-24, raising Rs 10.9 trillion. Debt issuances dominated with 78.8%, while equity, debt, and hybrid instruments increased by 24.9%, 12.1%, and 513.6% respectively. The number of IPOs grew 66% to 272 in FY24, with funds raised up 24% to Rs 67,995 crore.
