Idaho introduces new Potato State Trophy to revive rivalry with Idaho State University during Big Sky Conference Football Kickoff media day. The trophy replaces the Che Scow Cup, originally awarded to the winner of Idaho-Eastern Washington University game during Idaho's first tour in the Big Sky Conference. Idaho Vandals head coach Jason Eck aims to bring a Big Sky Championship to Moscow and has extended his contract through the 2028 season.
