Human rights lawyer Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa filed a Motion on Notice with the Supreme Court, asking for an injunction to restrain Lagos Governor Sanwo-Olu from imposing movement restrictions on residents during monthly environmental sanitation exercises. Adegboruwa seeks orders to prevent the respondents from restricting his and others' movements, as well as arresting and detaining them during sanitation activities.
