Hong Kong's consumer price inflation rose to 1.5% in June, marking a second straight monthly increase and the highest level in three months. The consumer price index (CPI) climbed from a 1.2% rise in May, with utility costs growing for the first time in eight months by 0.1% and charges for miscellaneous services increasing at an accelerated pace of 2.5%. Food inflation remained steady at 1.9%, while transport cost inflation eased to 1.7% from 2.3%.
