The European Commission has opened a formal antitrust investigation into food delivery companies Delivery Hero and Glovo, examining whether the two are participating in a cartel. The Commission is concerned that before the full acquisition, the two companies may have allocated geographic markets and shared commercially sensitive information, which could result in a fine exceeding 400 million euros for Delivery Hero.
