Durban Magistrate's Court evacuated due to bomb threat during Zandile Gumede's trial.

Durban Magistrate's Court was evacuated on Tuesday morning due to a bomb threat call. The court received an anonymous call claiming there was a bomb scheduled to detonate at 10:30am. As a precaution, KwaZulu-Natal police's Explosives and K9 units conducted a thorough search of the building. The court trial of Zandile Gumede, charged with 21 corruption-related offenses, was halted during the evacuation.
