Connecticut receives $700m in federal grants for renewable energy projects, including $450m for heat pump adoption across New England, $9.5m for a geothermal system at Union Station, New Haven, and $250m for electric vehicle charging infrastructure along I-95 for commercial vehicles. The grants are part of the $4.6bn allocated under the Inflation Reduction Act to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
