British Airways increases Speedbird Pilot Academy funding from 100 to 200 aspiring pilots, investing £21m for two-year training.

British Airways plans to fully fund 200 aspiring pilots' training in a £21 million investment effort to boost social mobility and diversity among its pilots. The initiative, called the Speedbird Pilot Academy, was initially set to fund 100 places in 2025, but the number has now doubled to 200.
