The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has distanced itself from an upcoming nationwide protest in Nigeria, describing it as "ill-timed, not purpose-driven, and counterproductive." Chairman of the ACF, Mamman Osuman, made the remarks during a visit to Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani. The ACF also expressed concern over the multidimensional poverty and violent crimes affecting the northern region in Nigeria.
