Antrim senior hurling manager Darren Gleeson has stepped down after five years in charge. The former Tipperary goalkeeper led the Saffrons to Joe McDonagh Cup wins in 2020 and 2022, and kept them in the Liam MacCarthy Cup in 2023 and 2024, as well as retaining Allianz League Division 1 status since winning Division 2 in 2020. Gleeson's tenure saw Antrim's standards rise to consistently challenge top Division One sides.
