Anglo American Platinum plans to separate from Anglo American by 2025, aiming for R10bn annual cost savings and considering a London secondary listing.

Anglo American Platinum (Amplats) is preparing to separate from its parent company, Anglo American, by 2025 to become a stand-alone entity in the platinum group metals industry. Amplats expects to achieve annual cost savings of R10bn ($547m) by 2024. Amplats CEO Craig Miller highlighted the critical role of platinum group metals in creating a cleaner, greener world.
