Aer Lingus pilots vote on a 17.75% pay increase proposed by IALPA, causing 610 flight cancellations.

Aer Lingus pilots are voting on a proposed 17.75% pay rise in a ballot overseen by the Irish Airline Pilots Association (IALPA). The 610 flight cancellations were a result of industrial action taken by IALPA members. If accepted, the deal would bring pilots' pay closer to inflation and end the ongoing pay dispute, which caused significant disruptions to 85,000 passengers and 600 flights in Aer Lingus' peak summer season.
