17-year-old Penelope "Penny" Wise, missing from Cedar Springs since May 31, was found safe in Rockford on July 21. Wise had been living with an older man and was spotted by a community member riding her bicycle. The Kent County Sheriff's Office and Rockford Department of Public Safety assisted in locating her. There was no suspicion of foul play, as it appeared she left her home of her own accord.
